Visit to Safran Test Cells - India 16/06/2023

Our Senior Trade Advisor Ms. Tanuja Pawar visited the facility last week at Hyderabad, to understand their Indian operations and the road ahead.

Just to understand Safran Test Cells in brief - Safran Test Cells (STC) is a department of Safran Aero Boosters, based in Belgium. Safran Aero Boosters is a worldwide leader in aircraft engine boosters, oil systems, test cells, and space valves.

Safran Aero Boosters employs 1,700 people and its revenue amounted to 595 M € in 2022.

Safran Test Cells has specialized for 65 years in Test Facilities for the Commercial & Military Markets. Its added value lies in delivering turnkey Test Facilities,  from designing to manufacturing, including software, test equipment, and services. STC has commissioned over 200 Test Facilities worldwide of which 3 in India.

STC is now expanding to India through a new subsidiary, “Safran Test Cells India private limited”, to be established in the following months. Mr. Ghislain HERBAUT is its head of Operations and Mr. Miad RASTEGAR is the Project Engineer, currently developing a local supply chain and working on their latest Test Cell project in Hyderabad.
