IBA’s Success Story15/04/2020

Consul General of Belgium, Mr. Pierre-Emmanuel Brusselmans, participated in the rigging ceremony of a cyclotron that is now be installed by the IBA (Ion Beam Applications SA) for Actrec, Tata Memorial Center, Navi Mumbai in January 2020. This is third installation in India, the other two being in Chennai and Gujarat.

This center will offer local access to advanced cancer treatment for cancer patients in India. TATA Memorial Center will be equipped with a 3-room proton therapy facility with the latest technologies such as Pencil Beam Scanning. An important milestone on the way to provide a greater access to proton therapy to Indian patients.
