AWEX Mumbai at Healthcare Innovation Summit18/06/2019

The 38th Healthcare Innovation Summit (HIS) was organized by Elets Technomedia in Mumbai on 13th June, 2019. AWEX Mumbai and the Consulate General of Belgium particpated as a country partner in this summit.

Mr. Uday Ulhe, the representative of Walloon companies ,Amplycell and Univercells  was one of the prominent speakers.

Univercells is a technology company delivering novel biomanufacturing platforms, aimed at increasing the availability & affordability of biologics for all.

AmplyCell's Technology increases cell line productivity and stability, allowing cost-effective and efficient manufacturing of recombinant protein and antibody.

Latest news is these two companies decided to merge their operations and work together as a strong entity. Mr. Ulhe spoke about Vaccination and how Univercells and Amplycell are making efforts to develop latest technologies like SIPV and also about company’s effort is to make these vaccinations affordable to all.

Dr. Sachin Malhotra represented Brussels based company Tech Care for all. They started Indian operations recently. Tech Care for all is a digital health company that owns and commercializes digital health solutions in Africa and Asia. Their ambition is to increase training opportunities for healthcare providers and transform continuing medical education through their new digital platform.

This summit is the best platform to showcase innovative technologies to Indian audiences. All big hospitals and digital healthcare companies were part of panel discussion.
